How to setup CRM Web Interaction Client/ Web Client UI

To activate CRM Web Interaction Client go to SICF and activate following services

• All the services in /default_host/sap/webcuif
• default_host//sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
• default_host/sap/bc/soap/ici
• default_host/sap/crm
• All the services in default_host/sap/public/bc 
• All the services in default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap.
• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb
• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/public/bc
• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/public/graphics/mimes
• default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/system
• default_host/sap/bc/gui/sap/its (If you are using the filter criterion. It is used for the service in step three to call CRM SAP GUI transactions from the CRM WebClient)
• default_host/sap/bc/contentserver (If you are not using a filter criterion)

After you activate the content server service, you need to create an external alias with contentserver as a target element. This is required for viewing attachments on the WebClient UI. For example, it is required for viewing address lists which are generated during campaign management.For more information, see SAP Note 606745. However, you should use SAP Note 606745 only for background information. The steps described below contain all the necessary configuration steps.

1. Choose External Aliases.
2. On the Maintain external aliases screen, mark the entry for default_host.
3. Choose  External Alias Create (F5).
4. On the Maintain external aliases screen, enter the information listed in the table below.

On the same screen on the Logon Data tab, enter the information listed in the table below.

On the Trg Element tab, select the entry contentserver and double-click on it. You can find the entry under  default_host sap bc

      5.  Choose Save (Ctrl+S).
