Linux configuration for SAP

5 – open ports: go to /etc/services

Shell commands:

# vi /etc/services …….. after putting # before below mentioned port line type # :wq

The port numbers used by sap R/3 by default (port number +system number):

a) 3200

b) 3201

c) 3202

d) 3300

e) 3301

f) 3302

g) 3600

h) 3601

i) 3602

j) 4800

k) 4801

l) 4802

Go to /etc/services

Search for port as we search for port 3200

Put a # in start of line to open that port for sap
